Lots and lots of planting is what Spring means to Heritage Organic Farm!
Certified organic plants are here and ready to be put in the ground.
Volunteers in the field are now planting broccoli, kale, cabbage and tomatoes.
Grady, Shirley's great grandson, came out to lend a hand during spring break. He is spraying fish emulsion on the parsley plants and hoeing the deer tongue lettuce garden.
Grady and his brother Davis also enjoyed feeding the goats a little grass and watching the baby calf nurse its mother.
The green onions are growing by leaps and bounds and we are harvesting them now. The brussel sprouts are looking gorgeous as well!
Hope you all have a happy, healthy weekend!!
